Toronto’s holiday comedy tradition returns.

Invasion: Christmas Carol begins as a sincere, fast-moving production of Charles Dickens’ beloved Christmas classic. Then, a surprise guest performer invades the story as a character of their choosing—and starts throwing Scrooge’s past, present, future, and emotional baggage completely off course.

The cast knows the story. They do not know who is coming.

Their job is to accept the chaos, fold the invader into Dickens’ world, and somehow still get Scrooge redeemed by the end.

The story stays the same. The invader changes. Every performance has its own jokes, disasters, callbacks, emotional left turns, and impossible-to-repeat moments.
